One year as my New Year's resolution, I resolved to fail so big and so much, that I wouldn't be afraid of failing anymore. When I posted about my resolution of failure and being comfortable with things not being perfect, many folks reached out and wanted to chat more. I had a slew of wonderful conversations about how over the past few years, I had gotten really skilled in reframing my mind/brain, and how this practice literally changed my life, my interactions, and my happiness. Now, to be fair, I’ve always been a rather glass-half-full gal so I definitely already have a natural lean to positivity. But life gets hard and especially in our current climate, having a positive outlook seems tougher and tougher. My dearest friends, as well as myself, have been hit with some really emotionally difficult situations. So I wanted to share a little bit about what I do, in hopes that it could help others. Since recording is my daily gig, it seemed only natural to record some thoughts on how I trained my brain to lean positive rather than to the negative. I’ve recorded one focus-idea per day for 30 days, and you can listen here. But if you'd like to follow along, blog-style, I have posted them here as well. Enjoy and let’s all be better humans together :)
